Abstract:

At Open Repositories 2012 we presented an introduction to the Demonstration Test Catchment (DTC) Archive, a data archive intended to facilitate the long-term investigation of water catchment areas in the UK. The current paper reports on the progress that has been made during the last 12 months. This includes the development of controlled vocabularies to support the Archive's architecture and the implementation of the Islandora digital asset management system. The next steps for the project, including mapping to RDF models to facilitate the use and reuse of data for queries, analyses or visualisations, are also outlined.
