Abstract:
In 2012, Duke University Libraries began development of a preservation repository for digital content produced or acquired by the Libraries. The project, whose pilot phase ended in February 2013, uses Fedora and the Hydra Framework. Initial production implementation is targeted for June 2013. This presentation will discuss the project, with particular attention to developer resources, content modeling, batch ingest, PREMIS Events for preservation data, and a prototype image file export application.
