Abstract: 

The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis provides a unique data repository, ALFRED, which aggregates and preserves economic data. ALFRED allows researchers to easily access vintage data for important economic series. Our paper describes the importance of revisions to economic data, and then the structure and use of ALFRED.
