Abstract: 

There are various issues involved in making completed PhD research data available for re-use at higher education institutions such as the University of Exeter. The JISC-funded Open Exeter project has examined these issues over the last year and the successes it has achieved as well as the areas which still need to be addressed are discussed in this paper.
